Quarterback Chris Greisen, a native of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, led his high school football team to the Division 3 state finals as a senior in 1993.

He consequently earned a scholarship to Northwest Missouri State University, where he became a two-time All-American quarterback and a three-time Academic All-Conference player. His senior year, Chris was named the Division II College Football Player of the Year after leading his team to a 15-0 record and a national championship.

He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the seventh round of the 1999 NFL Draft and played four years in the NFL.  From there he traveled the world, making a stop in Dusseldorf, Germany, to play with the Rhein Fire of the NFL Europe league.  Coach Greisen’s dream of getting back into the NFL then detoured him through the Arena Football League where in 6 seasons (4 starting) he shattered franchise and league passing records and currently holds all-time single season records in touchdown passes (117,) passing yardage (5,146,) and completion percentage (74%.)  Coach Greisen was also named Offensive Player of the Year in 2007 (media) and 2010.

In 2009 and 2010, Coach Greisen was also a member of the Florida Tuskers of the United Football League where he was a backup QB behind the league’s MVP, Brooks Bollinger.  He then got his first outdoor start of his long professional career in his second year with the Tuskers.  He made the best of that opportunity as he went on to lead his team to three consecutive wins and a berth in the team’s second consecutive championship game.  Following Coach Greisen’s solid performance at the end of the UFL season and extraordinary perseverance, the Dallas Cowboys signed him to their active roster the last week of the 2010 season.  It had been 9 years since he had been on an active roster in the NFL, an unofficial record.

In 2011, Coach Greisen continued to play in the UFL with the Virginia Destroyers under legendary coach, Marty Schottenheimer.  Coach Greisen helped lead the Destroyers to the 2011 UFL Championship.  Coach Greisen feels so honored to be able to give Coach Schottenheimer is first professional championship in his legendary 20 years run of being a professional football coach.  Following this championship season, Coach Greisen again finished the year on the active roster for the Dallas Cowboys.

Coach Greisen is now the head football coach at West De Pere High School.

Coach Greisen is married to his high school sweetheart, Shannon and have been blessed with six beautiful children.

Blake Peterson

Located in Dallas, Texas

Blake Peterson was born and raised in Topeka, KS. He began quarterbacking at the age of 7 and began working with Chris Greisen at the age of 11 – first through Football University (FBU) and then through individual instruction on a regular basis through his high school and college career.

Blake led his high school team as a quarterback, becoming the starter as a sophomore and leading his team to the 6A playoffs the following year as a Junior. After a successful Junior campaign, Blake signed a Letter of Intent with Coach Dennis Franchione at NCAA Division I Texas State University. After one year as a red shirt freshman at Texas State, Coach Franchione and his coaching staff were let go and Blake made the decision to transfer back to his hometown to NCAA Division II, Washburn University. After a first year as back-up quarterback and wide receiver, Blake became the starting quarterback and led Washburn to a 6 – 6 record. He still holds the record for most touchdowns in one game (6). Washburn was invited to the Heart of Texas Bowl in Copperas Cove, TX in 2017. After a decisive victory (41 – 25) against Angelo State University (TX), Blake was named “Most Valuable Player”. After a season-ending injury during the following football season Blake graduated with a degree in Business Management and moved to Dallas, Texas where he resides with his wife, Amanda.

After nearly 14 years under the guidance of Chris Greisen, Blake is well-versed and certainly a protege of his academy and the skills and values Chris teaches to young quarterbacks. Blake will work with quarterbacks in the Texas region under the Chris Greisen Quarterback Academy teaching the same values and techniques that were deeply rooted in him from his mentoring by Chris.
